Update on 6th class boys results

There were 2 controls which were placed the opposite way around, some 50 metres apart on a track. When this was discovered, the controls were changed. The basemap being used by the person putting out the controls had the numbers the opposite way around for some reason. As a number of competitors were affected, it was agreed to take out the offending controls on the results. The revised results were published.
However on appeal it was discovered that not enough time was allowed for the error. Some amazingly took 45 minutes trying to locate the control 50 metres away.
The outcome is a further revision of the results.
The first 3 individuals on the original declared results plus the updated winners plus both teams will receive prizes. I hope that this clarifies the matter and encourages all to keep orienteering. Sorry for the lack of clarity.
