Leinster Primary Champs

A small entry in the Leinster Primary Schools Orienteering Championships, took place in Carrigolligan Forest, Kilternan, Co. Dublin. It still provided plenty of exciting results.  Sam Hawes (Skryne NS), always in the top 3, finally had his first win in 6th Class Boys category, just 16 secs ahead of Niall Kelly (St Anne's NS, Shankill), whilst Cuan Riordan (St. Gerard's School, Bray), matching his brother, Eoin's, clear winner of 2nd/3rd Year Boys three weeks earlier in the post primary championships, showed his potential for the future, finishing almost 7 mins ahead of everyone else in 5th Class Boys.
Well done to Mary Healy and all her team of helpers.
