World Orienteering Day

Well done to all those who completed courses today at Waterford Peoples Park as part of World Orienteering day on May 11th.
260 pupils from Newtown NS, Waterpark NS, St John of Gods NS, Christchurch NS, and St Declan's NS participated in the event organised by Waterford Orienteering club.
A huge thanks to Norman and Elizabeth Storey, Jana Cox, Sally Silby and pupils from Newtown Secondary school who helped planner Andrew Cox to run the event.



















Leinster champs 2016 at Trooperstown


 Finishing her last schools' orienteering event on a winning note, Ariana Harris (Wilson's Hospital School, Multyfarnham) once again won the girls'senior title in the Leinster Schools Orienteering Championships in Trooperstown Woods in Co. Wicklow.
