In the second event of the Leinster Schools Orienteering League for primary schools, which took place in St Anne's Park, Clontarf on November 5th, a few minor errors by Joseph Butterfield (Scoil Mhuire, Marino) and Sam Hawes(Skryne NS) allowed Niall Morland (Skryne NS) back in with a fighting chance of the 6th Class Boys league title, with only one more league event to go, whilst Burrow NS, Sutton’s 6th Class Girls, Alysia Rafter, Kirsten Quinn and Lucy Colwell, took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, respectively but,
unfortunately, having missed the first league event, they will probably miss out on any medals.
