Tramore event in Cork...confused?

Well done to Liam and all his helpers yesterday...a new map around the old landfill site in Cork City. Tramore Valley park was the venue, not to be confused with Tramore, County Waterford. Full results are posted on the IOA website.

Leinster Primary 2 event

Eadaoin McCavana (Hollypark GNS) took first place on Wednesday last in 6th Class Girls, in the Leinster Schools Orienteering League (Primary), which took place in Cabinteely Park, Dublin, beating the winner of the first event (Niamh McGovern, Skryne NS) by 23secs, while Padraig Finnerty (Skryne NS) was the clear winner in 6th Class Boys category, finishing just over 1 min ahead of Lloyd Carolan (Skryne NS).

New schools at JFK

Pupils from Ballyhack and St Canices took part in their first training event at JFK. There were some excellent runs on the various short courses. Well done to all concerned. Thanks to Paul Allen, Hugh and Liz Dobbs for their invaluable help on the day. Full results here.
